Hunting

Northwest Colorado is known as a top hunting destination around the country. Routt County in particular is home to countless elk herds, mule deer, black bears, pronghorn, mountain lions and many other small game animals. The Murphy-Larsen Ranch is located in Game Management Unit 214. Hunting on the North Murphy-Larsen can be arranged by the ranch’s hunting outfitter or owners can utilize the thousands of acres of public land adjoining the ranch.
